As we welcome the Year of the Wood Snake, I invite you to embrace the
wisdom of this powerful energy—one of renewal, resilience, and
transformation. The Wood Snake moves with grace and adaptability, shedding
what no longer serves to grow into deeper alignment with its true essence.
May this year bring you vibrant health, emotional balance, and a sense of
expansion that nourishes your mind, body, and spirit.
Winter: A Season for Deep Replenishment
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, winter is the season of the Kidneys,
the storehouse of our essence and longevity. Just as trees pull their
energy inward to their roots, we too are called to slow down, replenish,
and restore our foundation. This is a time for deep rest, gentle movement,
and practices that sustain and fortify us—warming teas, grounding
seasonal foods, and the stillness that allows for renewal.
One of the simplest ways to support your Kidney energy is by
incorporating warming, nourishing foods into your daily routine.
Ingredients like ginger, cinnamon, black sesame, walnuts, and bone broth
gently strengthen your core vitality, circulate warmth, and build
resilience from within.
Warming Ginger & Cinnamon Tea
A soothing winter tonic for circulation, digestion, and Kidney Yang
support.
Ingredients:
• 1-inch piece fresh ginger, sliced
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 3-4 red dates (jujubes) or goji berries (optional, for
added nourishment)
• 1 tsp black sesame seeds (optional, for Kidney
support)
• 2-3 cups hot water
• Honey or sugar-free sweetener to taste
Instructions:
0. Bring water to a gentle boil and add the ginger,
cinnamon,
and red dates.
0. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, allowing the flavors to
infuse.
0. Strain into a cup, add honey if desired, and sip slowly,
letting the warmth settle into your core.

spring, this is also a time for setting intentions—for planting the
seeds
of your dreams and allowing them to take root in their own time. Instead
of

the surface, ready to grow when the time is right.

Acupuncture
• Fridays (9:00 AM - 4:00 PM): Private Sessions
