Jan 30, 2024
Dear V_FIRST_NAME,
I trust this message finds you in good spirits and enjoying the
beauty
of the season.
I want to express my gratitude to all those who have reached out or
attended our community acupuncture healing circles at the Princeville
Community Center. It has been truly delightful to reconnect with each of
you and witness the beautiful energy you bring to these sessions.
A special thank you to those who have courteously canceled ahead of
their sessions, considering the ongoing cold and flu season. Your
responsible decisions contribute to the well-being of our community.
These healing circles are well-attended, and when cancellations occur
in advance, it opens up opportunities for others. If you find no available
spots, check back regularly, as availability is subject to change.
Currently, sessions are still available for the end of February and
March.
Additionally, I want to announce that private sessions for February
and March are available at my location in Princeville! Feel free to
explore
the online schedule to find a time that suits you. If you have a special
request, for example if you’ll be coming as a couple, please reach out,
we’ll carve out a special time frame for you.
In the coming weeks, I'll be offering 60-minute herbal
consultations and mind body spirit healing coaching for those interested
in
Traditional Chinese Medicine herbs. This will provide you with a TCM
assessment with herbal medicine ordering as well as coaching tailored to
your healing journey.
Now, let's delve into the importance of herbal medicine during the
colder months:
As flu season is upon us, I'd like to share valuable information
about
three key herbal formulas that can bolster your immune system and support
your body in combatting colds, flu, respiratory distress, and even
COVID.
Why Choose Herbal Medicine?
Herbal medicine, deeply rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, takes
a holistic approach to health. Unlike conventional medications that mask
symptoms, herbal remedies work harmoniously with your body, addressing the
root causes and promoting overall wellness. The ultimate result is
enhanced
strength and resilience.
Now, let's distinguish between three common herbal formulas:
- Yin Qiao San:
- Ideal for the early stages of a cold or flu.
- Targets symptoms like sore throat, fever, and headache.
- Assists in clearing heat and toxins from the body.
- Gan Mao Ling:
- Effective for both prevention and relief of cold and flu
symptoms.
- Addresses a wide range of symptoms, including nasal congestion, body
aches, and fatigue.
- Provides support to the body's immune system.
- Yu Ping Feng San:
- Focuses on strengthening the immune system.
- Particularly beneficial for those prone to recurrent respiratory
infections.
- Aids in building defensive energy (Wei Qi) to prevent external
invasions.
Choosing the Right Formula:
Consider your specific symptoms and the stage of your illness when
selecting an herbal formula. If uncertain, feel free to reach out; I'm
here
to guide you in making the best choice for your unique needs.
Also, I will be selling these herbs at the community healing circles.
Even if you don’t have an appointment, feel free to pick up your
herbal medicine during the hours that we are there. Text (808) 652-3746 if
you aren’t sure when those times are.
Thank you for your ongoing support, and if you have any questions or
concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Wishing you the best of all things,
Linda Ming Lee,
L.Ac. MSOM
